About the piece:
This is the smaller of the two type of skulls I have available this launch. It has two little antler nubs, as though the skull was from the world's tiniest deer. The tiny teeth on this skull are far too sharp for any deer, though.

About the process:
This slip cast skull is one of a handful I made in 2023 to raise funds for my new wood kiln! I fired them while I was traveling throughout the country researching train kilns. It was either fired at Pleasant Hill Pottery with Jesse Jones, or at Mill Creek Pottery with Simon Levin. All of the effects on the skull are from the wood ash settling on the piece during the firing, combined with the different clays I use for the teeth.

Your beast will be sent out via USPS priority mail, safely and securely heading your way. In case of overpayment for international shipping or multiple purchases, I'll refund the extra.

About international orders:
I’ll ship internationally, but the buyer will be responsible for any tariffs or taxes their county may impose on US goods, including ones that get imposed while the piece is in transit.
